Gender Equality Index – 2026

The Gender Equality Index is rated out of 100 points.

  • The index result is 93/100 for SBM Supply Chain et Services.
  • SBM Life Science France scores 77/100.

 

SBM Life Science France has therefore set the following progress targets:

Progress target Indicator No. 1 => Pay gap (Result 27/40)

In order to ensure equal pay for women and men for the same work or for work of equal value, SBM Life Science has set itself the goal of reducing pay gaps that are not justified by objective criteria within three years. The goal is to achieve a score of 35/40 for this indicator, as far as possible.

 

Measures:

  • Budgets allocated to pay rises: Ensure fair distribution in order to reduce unjustified pay gaps between women and men.
  • Hiring & Promotions: Continue to ensure fair pay for equal work or work of equal value & ensure consistency with market pay levels when recruiting and promoting.

 

Progress target Indicator No. 2 => The gap in the distribution of individual pay increases between women and men (Result 25/35)

SBM Life Science has set itself the target of achieving, as far as possible, a result of 10 points higher on indicator 2 of the index concerning differences in individual pay increase rates within three years.

 

Measures:

  • Analysis of differences in individual pay increase rates.
  • Implementation of corrective actions in the event of unjustified differences being identified.
